WARNING outrageously long post!

This week was the final sitting week of the 59th Parliament. I have mixed feelings of my time here representing the constituents of Eastern Metropolitan Region and stakeholders in the commercial passenger vehicle industries.
We lost two years because of Covid as did the rest of Australia and jurisdictions around the world. However we have achieved much in our time here and we have much to be proud of! I dread to think what would have happened to the CPV industry if we weren’t here in parliament, there was no support from the major parties TMP were the only ones pursing the financial support we delivered on.
Just want to thank my amazing Parliamentry team, Norm, Linda, Emma, Kaya and Milly make no mistake I couldn’t do this without you! Also want to thank the TMP team cannot name them all here there’s to many, and of course all the TMP members. Would like to thank also the new members who have been signing up recently, thank you!
I’m proud of the work in other areas which mean so much to me, such as those who are at risk off or are homeless, drug reform, transport disadvantage in rural and regional Victoria, cost of living crises, housing affordability whether buying or renting, wage theft of workers in the gig economy, kids who have parents in custody and of course the reason I came here originally, to make sure there will be a taxi industry moving forward, and for those who owned taxi and hire car licences, address the theft of our property, the theft of our businesses, the theft of our superannuation.
It’s for these reasons I have decided to continue and contest the next state election on the 26 of November.
I am not going to give up are you?
